We love Martha’s Vineyard! So much so that we bought a house in Edgartown 10+ years ago.
Along the years, we have had many friends and family visit. We’ve had lots of people ask us for advice on what to do. This website is a compilation of all those answers. As such, it is suitable for families, solo travellers, couples, beach lovers and outdoor activity enthusiasts.
This website is for the visitor to Martha’s Vineyard who comes for a day trip, weekend, or even a week or two. We’ve heard from quite a few people say they can’t figure out why everyone loves Martha’s Vineyard so much.
As part-time residents (and someday hoping to be seasonal residents), we hope we can help you explore this island in the limited time you have. A Vineyard summer is magical – a time to rest, recoup and recharge for life in the ‘real world’.
For a small island, there is plenty to do on Martha’s Vineyard! As a travel-loving family, we are not exactly homebodies. Yet, we look forward to those two months of the year that we can return to this magical place we are lucky enough to call our summer home.
We also know that many of our visitors include a trip to Martha’s Vineyard with exploring the rest of Cape Cod, Boston and New England. So, we have a small section on other places you can include in your trip to the Vineyard.
